The 3 star Hotel Vasari Florence is ideal for guests attending
events at the Fortezza da Basso congress centre as well as anyone
who wants to be in amongst the quaint cobbled streets and stunning
architecture of the historical centre. That’s not to mention
our own building, which has a history all of its own!
Florence is a renaissance city that has been captivating the heart
of its visitors for centuries. It has so much to offer yet all on
a relatively small scale which can be covered on foot – small
in scale but not in content. From Brunelleschi’s magnificent
and domineering Duomo to the romantic Ponte
Vecchio, built in 1345, you’ll pass so much history
and culture in the piazzas, old markets, palaces and statues that
you will already be planning your next trip back to Florence.
This is not to say that the historical centre is all Florence has
to offer. If you want to drive to Florence and make the most of
the private parking facility at the Hotel Vasari,
then the monasteries, castles and villas dotted around Florence
in the typical Tuscan setting of cypress trees, rolling hills, vineyards
and olive groves are yet another part of Florence that will stay
in your heart forever.
Whether arriving by train at the Santa Maria Novella station
or driving in to Florence, the Hotel Vasari is easy to get to. The
Hotel Vasari is situated in a quiet little street just across from
the station and next to the congress centre as you will see from
the map below.
